Children and Media

While CWIN conducted research on child sexual abuse in the Kathmandu valley together with Save the Children Norway (2003) and in four other districts together with UNICEF (2005), many children reported having been exposed to pornographic material via Internet. Children and young people adapt to the staggering speed of change in the world of Internet much faster than adults, which makes it difficult for parents and teachers to monitor their children's behavior online
